Ordered this keyboard because the Microsoft one was on backorder. Used it for 10 minutes, unplugged it and sent it back. Plastic wrist rest is uncomfortable, as opposed to the padded rest of MS keyboard. Bottom is plastic and slides around. Key placement is odd and uncomfortable.
Used the MS keyboard for years before it went south. This is NOT a good alternative!

I purchased this for work and the whole thing is plastic. The bottom where you rest your wrist is also plastic. I thought this may be foam or memory foam...something softer than hard plastic. This is the loudest keyboard I have ever typed on. You can hear me typing down the hall. Not at all what I expected for a wireless ergonomic keyboard.

While using a standard keyboard, my fingers trip over themselves and I find myself having to delete all the time. I love the ergo, wireless keyboard - even my boss wants one. The only down fall to this keyboard is that it is LOUD! When the office is quiet, you can hear my click, click, clicking on the keyboard and it can be really annoying.
